REDUX EF40L Briquettes – Redux EF40L briquettes provide
performance similar to fluorspar-based fluxes but without the
drawbacks of "fluorine emissions". More importantly, there are
no "aggressive refractory" interactions that occur with
fluorspar containing fluxes. EF40L keeps furnaces and ladles
free of slag build-up and extends refractory life. Incorporation
of EF40L with the charge can greatly improve melting efficiency
and metal quality and is successfully used in all types of
electric melting furnaces such as arc, coreless induction, as
well as channel induction furnaces.
REDUX EF40 Bricks – Redux EF40 bricks provide performance
similar to fluorspar bases fluxes but without the drawbacks of
"fluoride emissions". More importantly, there are no "aggressive
refractory" interactions that occur with fluorspar containing
fluxes. EF40 keeps furnaces and ladles free of slag build-up and
extends refractory life. Incorporation of EF40 with the charge
can greatly improve melting efficiency, metal quality, and metal
cleanliness. In addition to improving metal quality, Redux EF40
flux additions improve melting efficiency and productivity.

REDUX EF40LP – Redux EF40LP is based on the same technology
as ASI’s popular EF40L briquettes except that it is now
available in a faster-acting form to effectively cleanse metal
and prevent buildup in ladles. Redux EF40LP keeps holding
furnaces and ladles free of slag build-up and extends refractory
life. Incorporation of EF40LP with the charge or as a ladle
addition can greatly improve melting efficiency and metal
quality by reducing entrained slags. Redux EF40LP is a buffered
flux that isn’t harmful to refractories and furnace linings when
used in the prescribed manner.
Ladle Flux #2 – A gray and ductile iron ladle-cleaning flux
containing minimal fluorides. Ladle Flux #2 contributes to the
production of slag-free castings. It lowers the melting point
and viscosity of the slag, which then rapidly rises to the
surface where it can be skimmed off.
Ladle Flux 007 – A proprietary fluoride containing gray and
ductile iron ladle flux that is enhanced by the addition of
small amounts of magnesium and a slag coagulant. Adding ASI’s
Slag-a-Way will greatly assist in slag removal.
Ladle Flux 008 – A proprietary fluoride containing ladle flux
for ductile iron containing magnesium, rare earths and graphite.
Using Ladle Flux 008 may allow for reductions in magnesium
ferrosilicon treatment alloys as well as post-inoculants. |
